This Wednesday Vladimiro Feliz presented his candidacy to the Porto Chamber. Without fear of stating that he is in the race to win, he assumes that losing the Câmara do Porto “will be a personal defeat”.
This Wednesday, Happy Vladimir he assumed that he is in the race for the Porto City Council to win and ruled out the possibility of assuming responsibilities in a future term following a post-election agreement with the independent Rui Moreira.
The objective of his project is, as the Público quotes, “the quality of life of the people of Porto and the ability to live up to the prestige and credibility, national and international, of the institutions and living forces of the city”.
“My commitment to the dignity that this place deserves is with the public cause, with the city and with the people of Porto, so I will never use this place to obtain any personal advantage or as a catapult for other flights, ”he said.
Feliz praised the legacy of Rui Rio, president of the PSD, at the helm of the city for three terms. “Proud return of legacy and a team that developed a policy of certain accounts and delivered a more cohesive city, with more quality of life and with a long-term development dynamic. ”
Rui Moreira’s governance deserved some criticism, since the fact that Porto has lost “the reformist and transforming DNA” and that it has gradually “entered into a mode of slow motion“.
“I did not know how to take advantage of the opportunity, especially with the advantage of having inherited a neat house and with the accounts in order,” said Feliz.
For young people, the orange candidate defended a city capable of “not having to leave Porto when looking for their own housing, as they do not have a balanced housing offer”.
“We want a Port that leads the best practices of sustainable urban mobility, a city designed for people, making the public mobility system a real option to take us from one point to another ”, listed the candidate.
“We want Porto to be more Porto, and to occupy a space that has always been its own, that of setting the pace of national development, with its entrepreneurial, reforming and transforming spirit”, concluded Vladimiro Feliz, who wants to remove Porto from “ slow motion ”.
