Meanwhile, the court is expected to finalize the witness hearing schedule on May 19. The ACB court registered charges against Rewanth Reddy, Uday Sinha and Sebastian. The court registered charges against the accused under Section 12 of the Anti-Corruption Act. Rewanth Reddy, others have been charged under IPC 120B Red with 34 charges. On the other hand, Rewanth and the other accused denied that the allegations against them were true. However, the ACB court had earlier registered charges against Sandra Venkataviraya. The ACB has made it clear that the court will finalize the witness hearing schedule on May 19.
If so, a petition has also been filed in the Supreme Court in connection with the note case for the vote, which has caused a stir across the country. A bench headed by Chief Justice Bobde heard a petition filed in the Supreme Court seeking the inclusion of Chandrababu Naidu as the accused in the case. Prashant Bhushan heard arguments in court on behalf of the petitioner. Asked to announce an exact trial date on the matter, he said it would be made clear in written orders.
