The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has slammed yoga guru Baba Dev for claiming that their coronel drug works wonders in preventing the corona virus.

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) is outraged by yoga guru Baba Dev’s claim that their coronel drug works wonderfully in the prevention of the corona virus. Ramdev Nadu claimed that the drug, made by their Patanjali company, was the best and most scientifically formulated. However, the Indian Medical Association has also lashed out at Health Minister Harshavardhan, who recently promoted it. Questioned how this false, unscientific product could be put before the nation. Ramdev Baba Coronel Medicine was launched on the 19th of this month in the presence of Health Minister Harshavardhan and another Minister Nitin Gadkari. (In fact, once released, it seems to have become popular again due to its lack of popularity). He said Coronil was certified as a pharmaceutical product, as well as the World Health Organization’s Good Manufacturing Practices Division. But the World Health Organization tweeted that they had not reviewed the medicine and had not certified any traditional drug that could prevent Kovid-19.

In this context, the Indian Medical Association questioned how Ramdev Baba could say in the presence of the Health Minister that the company had recognition for their medicine. It ignited an outrageous lie. Harshavardhan, who is also a doctor, demanded in a statement that the country be given sanjayshi for promoting it. As the Minister of Health of the country, is it appropriate for you to give a false promotion in front of the whole country? Is there relevance in releasing an unscientific, false product? How do you put this kind of drug in front of the country when you claim to be a doctor of modern medicine? The World Health Organization (WHO) has denied the allegations, saying “if you promote this, it will only insult the people of the country and deceive them”.

When a large-scale controversy erupted over the drug last year, the AYUSH ministry warned that it would not work unless it was sold as an immunosuppressive product and would work in the treatment of corona virus.
