Lacy Cordell Gentry, 32, accelerated against the facade and continued driving through the building; no one was hurt because the attack happened before opening hours
A man was arrested on Friday morning for using a car to break into and destroy a Walmart store in Concord, North Caroline, where he used to work. The suspect, who was identified as 32-year-old Lacy Cordell Gentry, would be furious at being fired in February of that year. He accelerated against the facade and continued driving inside the department store, breaking several products that were part of the stock. Fortunately, no one was hurt because the attack occurred at 6 am, before the unit opened. The few employees who were already in the building were evacuated. Walmart will remain closed while the police investigate the case, according to the American television station WCNC. Another vehicle for communicating USA, the WSOC said that Gentry was accused of “assault with a deadly weapon” against a US government official, home invasion and other complaints related to property damage. However, she already had passages in the police for crimes that were not revealed to the press.
