Faced with the favoritism of Pignatari, who currently occupies the position of government leader at Alesp, opposition parliamentarians are looking for solutions to curb the possible victory. The deputy Janaína Paschoal (PSL), says that supporting the candidacy of Coronel Telhada (PP) is part of a strategy. “And I firmly understand that if three or four parties take separate candidacies they will all be helping the government,” he said. In turn, Telhada knows that the race is tough, but believes in a favorable outcome. “I have a lot of isolated deputies supporting me, Rep. Sergeant Neri, Rep. Márcio Nakashima, Rep. Edna Macedo herself, Janaína Paschoal. Some deputies who are with me, are from the PSL and are committed to the PSL candidate, but we are talking and I believe that these deputies will come with us. Today, I would have an average of 15 to 20 deputies with me, ”he said. By opposition, state deputy Major Mecca (PSL) is also in the running. The leader of PSOL, deputy Mônica Seixas, should launch her own candidacy in the coming days.
