Complaints from consumers were registered in the agency’s service channels
A National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) states that he has received 38 complaints about ‘kit covid‘against 23 health operators many different. The complaints refer to the period between January 2020 and September 2021. The sites are said to be related to the use of medicines whose effectiveness has not been proven by health authorities. According to ANS, not all were complaints about the use of medicines from the ‘covid kit’, but somehow the issue was mentioned at the time of registration of the demand. Agency data, published by the newspaper O Globo, show that Hapvida had seven complaints, Prevent Senior had six, Amil registered four and Jardim América two. Another 19 operators had one complaint each. Currently, according to the ANS, there are investigation processes in relation to Prevent Senior, Hapvida, São Francisco Sistemas de Saúde and Unimed Fortaleza, although there has been no record of a complaint against the latter. to reach this number, search terms such as “covid kit”, “early treatment”, “chloroquine”, “hydroxychloroquine”, “ivermectin”, among others, were used.
