One Boeing 777 which belongs to the airline Rossiya had to make an emergency landing at Sheremetyevo Airport, on Russia, after malfunctioning of an engine control sensor. The incident happened on Friday, 26, while the plane operated the transcontinental flight FV4520, which goes from Hong Kong a Spain. Last Saturday, the 20th, another Boeing 777 was forced to make an emergency landing due to engine problems. In this case, the aircraft belonged to the United Airlines returned to Denver Airport in the U.S, right after its takeoff. Apparently, a blade broke and ended up loosening the engine cover and other metal parts, which fell in a suburb of the city.

Since the last day of the 20th, the Boeing recommended the suspension of operations of the 69 aircraft of the 777 model that are in service and 59 in stock, all with Pratt & Whitney engines, which is a unit of the Raytheon company. Air authorities in several countries, including the United States, the Japan it’s at South Korea, also decided, on their own, to temporarily suspend the operations of this model while investigations continue.
