THE Ministry of Health released on Sunday, the 21st, the record of 29,026 new cases and 527 deaths by Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. With these results, the country increased the number of infected people to 10,168,174, while deaths from the new coronavirus total 246,504 victims. The data were released by the National Council of Health Secretaries (CONASS) through a newsletter updated at 6 pm this Sunday. Once again, Covid-19’s progress indicators in Brazil followed the trends presented in recent weeks. The lethality rate remains stable at 2.4%. The mortality rate of the disease continues to show increases, reaching the mark of 117.3 per 100 thousand inhabitants. Finally, the incidence rate of Covid-19 continues to grow, reaching the level of 4,838.6 per 100 thousand inhabitants.
