Country has just under 50% of the total population immunized; Brazil’s vaccine plan started on January 17, 2021
O Brazil reached this Friday, 30, the mark of 100 million people vaccinated with at least one dose against the Covid-19. The number is equivalent to 47.26% of the country’s total population. According to data from Ministry of Health, so far 176,547,458 doses have been delivered to Federative Units and at least 40,602,854 people are fully immunized in the country, which is equivalent to about 19% of the total population and 25% of the adult population. The country, which currently works with doses of AstraZeneca, Pfizer, CoronaVac and Janssen (which has a single application), started the immunization on January 17th. At the moment, most states are in the process of vaccinating people aged between 25 and 30.
