By the 12th, 72 million doses are expected to be delivered to the Brazilian government
Brazil received this Wednesday, 8th night, at Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas, São Paulo, the 66th batch of Pfizer vaccines against a Covid-19. There are 1,134,900 doses of the immunizing agent that will be transported to the deposit of the Ministry of Health, in Guarulhos. Pfizer must send 200 million doses the country by the end of 2021, through two supply contracts. The first, closed with the Ministry of Health, on March 19, provides for the delivery of 100 million doses by the end of September. The second, signed on May 14, provides for another 100 million doses between October and December. According to Pfizer, six more batches are expected to arrive by the 12th, when about 72 million doses should have been delivered to the Brazilian government. According to the Ministry of Health, approximately 59 million doses of Pfizer’s vaccine were transferred to the states and the Federal District.
