Brazil registered 14,430 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass). In the same period, from Tuesday to Wednesday, 8, there were 250 deaths from the disease. With the figures released, the country has 584,421 fatal victims and a total of 20,928,008 infected with the coronavirus. The moving average of deaths over the past seven days fell to 467. The average of new diagnoses for Covid-19 also registered a decline to 17,685. The fatality rate remains stable at 2.8%. The disease mortality rate was 278.1 per 100,000 inhabitants. São Paulo is still the most affected state, with 4,297,229 cases and 146,610 deaths.
