In the last 24 hours, the Brazil registered 27,592 new cases of Covid-19, making the total of positive tests reach the mark of 19.4 million. Currently, the country has 19,419,437 infected with the new coronavirus (Sars-Cov-2) and its variants. In the same period, the country registered 1,424 deaths from the disease, bringing the total number of fatalities to 544,180. The moving average of deaths over the past seven days went to 1,192. The daily average of Covid-19 cases dropped again and reached the mark of 38,206. The other indicators continue to show the progress of the pandemic in the country. The mortality rate increased to 259 per 100,000 inhabitants, as well as the incidence rate, which rose to 9,240.9 per 100,000 inhabitants. In turn, the lethality rate was stable at 2.8%. The data were released by National Council of State Health Secretaries (Conass) through an update made at 6 pm this Tuesday, 20.
