At least six people died after heavy rains hit the Zona da Mata and the Alto Caparaó region of Minas Gerais on Sunday, 21. A humanitarian aid truck with mattresses and hygiene kits has also left for the municipality. Our solidarity with everyone who has been suffering from the rains in Minas. The State will support all city halls and the population that need help ”, he said in a publication on the networks.
Throughout the day, the Civil Defense issued alerts for severe thunderstorms, lightning, hail and heavy rain to more than 20 cities in the state. The agency’s teams remain on alert. So far, there is no exact estimate of how much it rained in the region.
