In a joint special operation between the two countries, 14 terrorists were arrested in Europe. As it is known, Daniel and German law enforcers conducted a special operation at the same time. 13 people were arrested in Denmark and one in Germany during the special operation.
According to operative information, 14 people were planning a terrorist attack on the territory of Europe.
“These people may have been inspired by military Islam. During the operation, we discovered the material needed to make a homemade bomb,” said Flemish Dreyer, head of Denmark’s intelligence service.
During the arrest operation, law enforcement officers seized the Islamic State flag, tools, including a hunting rifle, and various tools needed to make a bomb.
Seven people arrested in Denmark have already been charged. Police have so far not spoken about the other 7 people for whom no charges have been filed. According to the German press, there are three Syrian brothers far from the detainees.
