Renato Hideki and psychologist Valentina Baldino claim that, even after shouting for help, hotel staff did not offer any support; the case was registered at the Monte Gordo police station in Camaçari, Bahia
A group of four accuses a businessman in the Federal District of punching aggression during an argument at the luxury resort Vila Galé Marés, located in the municipality of Camaçari, Bahia. Psychologist Valentina Baldino, real estate consultant Augusto Amorim, bank employee Bruno Figlioli and doctor Renato Hideki all claim that they were victims of a beating by a man, who took offense when the group asked a child who was with him to play further, as he would be pouring water on them. ”Physically, I have a cut on my face, I got stitches, but it’s my emotional one that is destroyed. As the aggressor and his family were not expelled from the hotel, we were left with a mania for persecution, and for a fight that was not even ours ”, he told in an interview Young pan Renato Hideki, who was at the hotel to celebrate his honeymoon with fiance Bruno, and met Valentina and Amorim on the first night at the place. According to the doctor, he and his companion were “just trying to help settle a fight”, and ended up being beaten. The couple have already sued lawyers in Camaçari, Salvador, São Paulo and Florianópolis and will file a lawsuit against both the hotel and the aggressor.
According to Renato, he, Valentina, Amorim and Bruno were at the pool, together with a family “visibly drunk”. “The child was throwing water at us, she was playing, we asked her grandmother to play a little more to the side. Before that, we were already close to the whole aggressor family, because it was one of the few areas of the pool that had shade, but as they were drunk we left close. Valentina asked him [criança] play a little further, and the grandmother replied: ‘Child is like that, are you a mother? If you are a mother, you must be a terrible mother ‘”, she reported. According to him, the grandmother moved away, but the aggressor’s wife returned with a float, along with the child. “The mother took the float and slowly kept throwing the float at us. Valentina again turned and asked: ‘Wow, we talked to the other girl, that the child is throwing water, there is no reason why, the pool is too big’, and the mother said that the pool was really big and that we could get out of there too. It was the only moment that Bruno, my husband, said something: ‘Girl, the child is throwing water at us’, he said. She said: ‘If you are in the pool, it is to get wet’. And he replied: ‘Would you like someone to splash your face with water? It’s very boring’. Suddenly, the women in the family started shouting pointing in our direction. With that, the boy’s mother and father came, I pulled Bruno back and Valentina and Augusto stayed in the front ”, continued Renato.
The doctor said that, at that moment, Valentina’s hand went towards the aggressor’s face, in the shape of a slap, and he struck back with two punches to her face. Bruno went to break up the fight and ended up getting punched too. Renato sat on the edge of the pool, pulled his husband over and started screaming for a security guard. “He [agressor] put his hand out of the pool, and punched my eye. Augusto went to try to fight back and I just screamed for security, ”said the doctor. According to him, the group asked for help several times and no hotel employee tried to break the fight or offer support. “We ran out of the pool area, went to the reception, and I shouted to call the police, but there was no manager, or at least no one reported to me as a hotel manager. The receptionist said: ‘Only you can call the police, we can’t do anything’. I was desperate with a bleeding face, we had no help from the hotel, ”he said. The group went to the police station and then to the Medical Legal Institute (IML), a route that was suggested to share a taxi with the aggressor. Only on the following day, Renato states that there was a “partial assistance” by the Human Resources manager, but that he cannot do much, as he was not the general manager of the resort.
In an outburst published on social networks this Monday, 1st, Valentina reported that, due to the aggressions, she is not being able to see properly. “My face is badly bruised, I can’t see well, I have a lot of pain in my jaw,” he said. The psychologist also accused the hotel management and the Camaçari authorities of not offering any support to the group. “We were victims of aggression at the Vila Galé Marés hotel. I received punches, jerks, I drank a lot of water from the pool, by people who were drunk and who therefore lost track of what they were doing. Flashes of memory keep coming in my head, which make me tremble. (…) I haven’t slept for two days, ”he said. THE Young pan tried to contact the press office of Vila Galé Marés, but still did not get a return until the publication of this report.
