A 66-year-old woman was run over by a motorcycle and died while trying to cross a highway in Indaiatuba (SP) this Wednesday, 21, to see the body of the niece who was the victim of a accident in the same place a few hours earlier. The 70-year-old woman’s husband was also run over and injured. According to the Secretariat of Public Security of São Paulo, the first accident occurred around 4 pm, on the Santos Dumont highway, and involved three cars. THE Military Highway Police reported that the driver of a Gol had gone wrong and entered the opposite direction of the lane, colliding with the side of an HB20 and the front of a Corsa. A 44-year-old woman died and four people were injured. Around 6:30 pm, the uncles of the victim went to the scene of the raid and, when crossing the highway, they were run over. The woman did not resist and the man was referred to the UPA Jardim Morada do Sol. The motorcyclist was also referred to the UPA and was released after medical assistance. The case is under investigation and was registered as manslaughter in the driving of a motor vehicle and being run over at the municipal police station.
