Second president of the Council, meeting will be held on the 26th and councilors must deliberate on disciplinary representation against suspected of killing boy Henry
The President of the Ethics Council of the City Council of the Rio de Janeiro, Alexandre Isquierdo (Democrats), made a statement on Thursday, 22, stating that a new meeting with members of the commission will be held on Monday, 26, to deliberate on a possible disciplinary representation against the councilor Dr. Jairinho, arrested for disturbing investigations and suspected of murdering his own stepson, Henry Borel, on March 8. The meeting may generate a request to revoke the mandate of the politician, who was expelled from the Solidarity party after his arrest and lost his position as president of the Justice and Writing Commission of the Chamber, responsible for analyzing the representations against parliamentarians of the House.
“The tendency is for there to be a unanimous representation of the ethics council against councilor Jairinho. What I can say is the feeling of the house is that there will be a large majority in favor of the removal of the councilman, in view of what is being disclosed in the media and what we have seen in the investigation records ”, said Isquierdo. Jairinho has been in prison since April 8, as has his girlfriend, Monique Medeiros. Both are suspected of interfering with investigations into the death of the boy Henry, aged 4, and had a temporary detention of 30 days decreed by the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro. The delegate responsible for the case, Henrique Damasceno, holder of the 16th DP of Barra da Tijuca, said that there is no doubt about the authorship of Jairinho in the crime, but awaits the conclusion of reports to finalize the investigation.
