Between 4 pm on the last Wednesday, 24, and on this Thursday, 25, there were 100.736 new infections by the new coronavirus (Sars-Cov-2) and its variants, increasing the total number of cases to 12.320.169. In the same period, 2,787 new deaths, making the number of fatalities recorded since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, be 303.462. The data were released by the National Council of State Health Secretaries (CONASS) through a bulletin update held at 6 pm on this Thursday. The previous record was set on March 17, when 99,634 cases were confirmed. The incidence rate of the disease continues to increase and reached the mark of 5,862.6 per 100 thousand inhabitants, while the mortality rate was 144.4 per 100 thousand inhabitants.
