Only Fiocruz hopes to make 3.8 million doses available to the Ministry of Health’s PNI this month.
From now on, according to sources from the Young pan, Brazilian states should receive vaccines against Covid-19 – be from Oxford/AstraZeneca or at CoronaVac. You can already have a kind of greater predictability with the increase in the scale of production and registrations of immunizers. Only the Fiocruz expects to make this month available to the National Immunization Plan do Ministry of Health, 3.8 million doses.
In the coming months: 30 million in April; 25 million in May; 25 million in June; and 16.6 million in July – totaling 100.4 million doses up to the middle of the year with Imported IFA. The idea, according to the sources, is that every week these vaccines are made available by PNI to Brazilian states. And the more effective this logistical process is in the States, responsible for distributing it to the municipalities, the faster the immunization calendar for Brazil can move forward. In Rio de Janeiro, for example, the calendar has already been interrupted a few times precisely because of a lack of vaccines.
