This stage is Presidente Prudente, Bauru, Araraquara, Barretos, Marília, São José do Rio Preto, Franca, Ribeirão Preto, São João da Boa Vista, Piracicaba and Taubaté. The Secretary for Economic Development, Patricia Ellen, stated that the easing of the hours occurred after a conversation with representatives of the sector of bars and restaurants.
“Through constant dialogue with the sectors, we saw that a protocol was revised with due security. The consumption of alcoholic beverages in restaurants, which was prohibited after 8 pm, can be carried out until 10 pm, with all protocols, tables with up to 6 people, respecting the capacity of 40% [da capacidade máxima dos estabelecimentos]”, He said at a press conference at Palácio dos Bandeirantes. “This model is being revised for restaurants, sales in convenience stores, with permission to sell and consume until 10 pm in regions of the yellow phase, but the restriction for consumption continues to apply in the orange and red phases.
