A report issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority revealed that the total value of share issuances during the month of October reached 10.46 billion pounds, compared to 7.2 billion pounds during last October, with a growth of 44.2%.
The total value of incorporation shares’ issuances decreased by 49%, to reach 2.04 billion pounds during the month of October, to reach 1.37 billion pounds in October 2019.
The report added that the value of capital increase shares during the same period amounted to 8.4 billion pounds, compared to 5.11 billion pounds, a growth rate of 64.5% compared to October 2019.
According to the report, the number of foundation shares issued were about 219 issues during October 2020, compared to 263 issues in October 2019, while capital increase issues reached 98 issues compared to 132 issues in October 2019.
On the other hand, the value of incorporation shares during the period from January to last October reached 15.7 billion pounds, compared to 31.9 billion pounds during the corresponding period of last year, a decline of 50.8%.
The value of capital increase shares during the first 10 months of this year decreased by 28.6% to reach 62.7 billion pounds, compared to 87.8 billion pounds during the comparative period.
According to the report, the total value of issuances during the same period was about 92.9 billion pounds, compared to 131.2 billion pounds, down 29%.
