It seems that the UAE will face a new problem with the US administration led by Joe Biden, because of its hidden movements and the malicious goals of Mohammed bin Zayed in the region.

In this context, the US House of Representatives Intelligence Committee expressed serious concerns about what it described as the Emirati moves, maneuvers and cooperation with China.

She reviewed the impact of this on national security, in addition to the threat of extremist ideologies, which she said are rooted in Saudi Arabia.

Adam Schiff, Chairman of the Intelligence Committee in the US House of Representatives, presented a classified report to the Central Intelligence Agency (CII), which carried explicit accusations of the UAE and its hidden roles.

The bill, which is being discussed by the US Congress, included provisions that address intelligence gaps and increase America’s focus on threats from parties described as allies, and called for a review of those relations it has with Abu Dhabi.

Item No. 605.. China and the UAE

Under item No. 605 on cooperation between China and the UAE, the confidential report touched on this relationship, with which questions were raised, and a serious call for scrutiny.

The law stressed the need for cooperation – within a period not exceeding 60 days – of US security agencies and intelligence agencies to examine accurate details of Emirati hands and their leadership maneuvers.

The Intelligence Committee also called on the security authorities in Washington to submit a report to Congress that includes details of cooperation between Beijing and Abu Dhabi regarding defense, security, technology and other sensitive matters.

Audit of Abu Dhabi activity

The Intelligence Committee considered this report and the scrutiny of Abu Dhabi’s activity as a strategic matter and a matter of the national security interests of the United States.

In the classified document, US security agencies stress the submission of a quarterly assessment by the Intelligence Committee of the measures taken by the UAE, and all suspicious relations related to the field of technology that threaten the security of the United States.

Washington fears the relationship that Abu Dhabi has built with Beijing, and the possibilities of transferring special technology to China, or other external parties.

According to security experts, the report of the US House of Representatives Intelligence Committee constitutes a slap to the UAE, which was exposed in Washington in light of reports of attempts to interfere in US policies and influence its relations with some countries.

The Intelligence Committee stressed the need to include in its report, which it will prepare, accurate information and data on the role of governmental and non-governmental entities, and individuals, in the promotion, financing and export of ideologies, including the so-called “Wahhabi ideology”, that inspires extremist or extremist groups in other countries.
