Coincided with the great uproar caused by the famous social networking site in the Sultanate of Oman, Amira Al-Shanfari, because of the offensive content that she publishes. Activists blew a surprise about her non-Omani origins.

(Watan) monitored several tweets by Omani activists confirming that the well-known Princess Al-Shanfari (Princess of the Universe) origins. It is not Omani and its roots go back to Saudi Arabia.

Specifically from an ancient Hijaz tribe, which is the Hakim tribe.

Activists also stated that her mother is Egyptian, and that her father is of Saudi origin, as her grandfather came to the Sultanate in the forties and worked as a teacher in Dhofar.

After that, the grandfather of Amira Al-Shanfari became the director of the Al-Saeediya School in Salalah.

He married Salalah, a writer and poet, and fathered two males, Muhammad and Abdullah, and Muhammad is the father of Amira al-Shanfari, known as the “Princess of the Universe”.

Sultanate of Oman launches a campaign against harmful content

It is noteworthy that, a few days ago, the judicial authorities in the Sultanate of Oman launched a campaign against indecent content. Which is published on social networking sites.

The Sultanate of Oman issued court rulings against some Celebrities Because of the outrageous content of their posts. They were charged with breaching public morals.

Judgments included Fadwa Salam Al-Busaidi and Amira Al-Shanfari, known as the “Princess of the Universe”. It states that all their personal accounts are prohibited from being used.

The penalty for the well-known is increased if accounts are opened or posts are published on it from any other device. The judgment shall be executed 7 days after the date of pronouncement.

Fadwa Salam Al-Busaidi works as a model, and she also introduces herself as a social activist, posing and debating. Controversial issues in the Sultanate of Oman.

Fadwa Salam posted a video of her on “Snapchat”, which the Omanis deemed indecent and offensive to the Sultanate.

Fadwa appeared in the clip, dancing and swaying in a clip that he had taken with her mobile camera and uploaded it to her accounts on the communication sites.

Al-Shanfari princess known as the princess of the universe

She is a prominent Omani businesswoman in the business sector, and she always promotes her products on social media, in addition to sharing some details of her life.

The princess of the universe always raises controversy among Omanis with her videos and outgoing movements.

The princess of the universe previously said in a media interview, that the credit for her success goes to the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said, and to the laws. Which was enacted in order to preserve women’s rights in addition to family and children’s participation in work.

And the Princess of the Universe confirmed in that meeting years ago, that the confidence and moral support given to women made them distinguished from women in other countries.

Amira praised the laws that helped women practice their work without leaving her home. Especially granting her commercial permits that allow her to work from inside her home.

A wide tribute to the Omani judiciary

The pioneers of social media praised the move of the Omani judiciary, and emphasized that Omani society is still insisting on upholding its originality and preserving customs and traditions.

Through these hashtags, activists praised the Omani judiciary and its role. By preserving the image of the conservative Sultanate.
