The Israeli newspaper (Globes) revealed that “Israeli” drones will protect the participants in the Expo 2020 in Dubai.
According to the Israeli newspaper (Globes), Dubai Police have chosen a drone system from the Israeli company “Aerobotics”, which will be deployed throughout the city in order to shorten the police response time to events during the exhibition in October.
Expo 2020 will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, coinciding with the fiftieth year of the United Arab Emirates.
Israeli drones protect Expo 2020 in Dubai
The Israeli newspaper said that the field of advanced security is one of the most areas of cooperation between the UAE and Israel, and there is an increasing interest by government agencies and major companies in the Emirates in the solutions offered by Israeli companies.
According to the deal, the company’s drone system, which includes a suite of automated skimmers, will be deployed across Dubai for security purposes, responding to emergency calls and guarding, and will allow for a reduction in police response time to incidents and distress calls from civilians. All this without the need for an operations team in the field or in an aircraft maintaining eye contact with the glider.
The material collected by the skimmers reaches the monitors in the police operations room where a unique special communication-based system has been installed and is part of the comprehensive package offered by Aerobotics.
The system centralizes the control, analysis and processing of vital information collected by the drone, and provides real-time insights. The program also enables, among other things, analysis of information on an interactive map, live video broadcasting, and routine management of tasks.
It is noteworthy that Expo 2020 was supposed to be held last year, but was postponed to the current year 2021 due to the outbreak of Corona, and the name remained the same (Expo 2020).
