The former title holder Al-Ahly of Egypt defeated its counterpart Smouha by four clean goals without a response, in the 28th round of the Egyptian League, which brought both teams together at the Alexandria Stadium.

Al-Ahly team scored its first goal in the 40th minute, by striker Mohamed Sherif, with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area, which was shot by the player to the left of the goalkeeper.

Al-Ahly team managed to add the third goal at the end of the first half, scored by left-back Ali Maaloul, strongly to the left of the Smouha window.
