While the Turkish authorities or their official media have not yet mentioned this phone call.
Meanwhile, Turkish and Emirati media are still blocked in both countries.

This remarkable phone conversation came days after the UAE National Security Adviser, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, visited Turkey.
President Erdogan held a rare meeting with Sheikh Tahnoun, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, after years of tension between the two countries and sharp differences in several regional disputes.
At the time, the Emirates News Agency reported that Erdogan and Tahnoun discussed ways to improve relations between the two countries, including trade and investment opportunities.
A statement issued by the Turkish Presidency Communication Department also stated that the two sides discussed relations between the two countries and regional issues. He pointed out that during the meeting, Erdogan and Al Nahyan discussed the UAE’s investments in Turkey.
These rare steps come a few months after remarkable statements following the Gulf reconciliation, where the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash announced that his country wants “normal relations with Turkey”, speaking of “encouraging indications” to achieve this. “We want to tell Turkey that we want normal relations that respect sovereignty between us and it,” Gargash said, in an interview with “Sky News Arabia”, which was published on Sunday evening, January 10, 2021.

The Emirati minister also stressed: “We have no reason to disagree with Turkey, there is no problem. Today, we see that the recent Turkish indicators, such as the openness with Europe, are encouraging.”
However, he added, “We want Ankara not to be the main supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood. We want Ankara to restore the compass in its Arab relations.”
It is noteworthy that relations between the UAE and Turkey have witnessed tension over several issues, including the crises in Syria and Yemen, especially Libya, in contrast to the position on the Egyptian crisis.
The tension between the two countries is also due to the issue of the Turkish government’s relations with the “Muslim Brotherhood”, which the UAE authorities are hostile to.
These recent developments are of particular importance, given that Abu Dhabi is the most active party in its practices against Turkey among the tripartite axis: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
It also seemed that the UAE’s hostility to Turkey and Islamists is the motive behind Abu Dhabi’s efforts to antagonize Turkey everywhere. In addition to the Emirati support for Haftar in the face of the Government of National Accord backed by Turkey and Qatar, the UAE participated in air exercises with Greece and France at the height of tension between Athens, Paris and Ankara.

The UAE also participated in issuing a ministerial statement in May 2020 with Egypt, Cyprus, Greece and France, criticizing Turkey’s activities in the Mediterranean, which seemed remarkable given that the UAE is the only signatory to the statement that is not bordering the Mediterranean basin. Rather, it is far from him.
Rather, the UAE has come to defy the Arab constants, especially the Gulf ones, by supporting the Bashar al-Assad regime, which has demographically displaced the Sunnis of Syria, in addition to being a follower of the axis led by Iran, which occupies the three Emirati islands.
