El-Gabaly: The medical center in Sudan will enhance trade exchange … We hope for similar steps
Dr. Sherif El-Gabaly, head of the African Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, announced that the committee is planning to hold bilateral meetings with deputies of African countries during the coming period, to work on strengthening trade cooperation with Egypt as well as overcoming all obstacles that exporters face from both sides.
He added to the “Stock Exchange” that economic cooperation is one of the most important axes that the committee is working on .. Therefore, the coming period will witness surprises regarding the Egyptian exports file to African countries, so that exporters will be able to naturally access those markets.
Al-Gabali pointed out that Egypt’s return to African countries through improving political relations comes as a result of the great confidence that these countries place in Egypt .. and thus this will have a positive impact on economic cooperation.
He explained that Egypt’s African policy is changing during the current period with the support of the political leadership .. This is what the business community has been demanding over the past years, given that the improvement of political conditions takes precedence over trade relations.
Al-Jabali cited China and its good relationship with those countries, as a result of the social contributions that it contributes to within countries, such as development work, especially infrastructure and health services, such as building hospitals and medical centers.
El-Gabali said that Egypt’s tendency to build a medical center in Sudan will work to enhance trade exchange between the two countries, calling for similar steps to be taken in a number of countries that Egypt wants to be in.
He explained that the confidence of African countries in Egypt has become great, especially after the successes achieved by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the countries of the continent during Egypt’s presidency of the African Union.
El-Gabaly considered Egypt’s election to head the United Nations Peacebuilding Committee, the biggest evidence of the status and strength of Egyptian diplomacy and its role in developing and strengthening relations with foreign countries and deepening cooperation, hoping for a bright future for all, in addition to Egypt’s success in winning and supporting African diplomacy for Egyptian policies at all levels.
