Kidnapping penalty in Kuwait
It is worth noting that the House of Representatives approved a legislative amendment to increase the punishment for child kidnapping, to the point of execution by hanging. He agreed to “amend a penal code that provides for the death penalty or life imprisonment (25 years) for anyone who kidnaps a child. If the kidnapping crime is associated with the abduction or indecent assault.
The amendment stipulates that “whoever kidnaps a child, without deception or coercion, shall be punished with imprisonment for a period of no less than 10 years, if it is.” Kidnapping is accompanied by a ransom demand, so the punishment is imprisonment for a period of no less than 15 years and not more than 20 years.
