The Urban Communities Authority will complete the implementation of 17,600 units in the new city of Alamein during the next fiscal year.
Engineer Abdulmutallab Mamdouh, Vice President of the Urban Communities Authority, for the Urban Development Sector, said that the projects of the new city of Alamein include the completion of the implementation of 17,600 housing units.
He added that the second sector of El Alamein University and the heritage city will be completed, and the implementation of 13.8 thousand housing units, the iconic tower, an administrative tower, and a hotel tower will be completed, and 927 housing units will be implemented, and the third sector at El Alamein University.
The Board of Directors of the New Urban Communities Authority approved the approval of the authority’s draft budget for the next fiscal year 2021-2022, at about LE 140 billion.
Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, said that during the next fiscal year, this budget will be spent on completing, completing and starting the implementation of hundreds of thousands of housing units of various kinds in the new cities, as well as utility projects “water, sanitation and electricity works.” And the various projects in the New Administrative Capital.
Al-Jazzar added that a number of development projects that are being implemented in the various governorates will be funded, in addition to financing part of the works by the projects of the Presidential Initiative “A Decent Life”, to develop villages and dependencies nationwide.
