In his tweet, he said: “Good news for Omanis working in the UAE who cross the border periodically. “You have the priority now to get the vaccine.” As one of the categories that have been added to the target groups.
Al-Saeedi explained that, therefore, this leads to avoiding the Corona examination procedures and the costs associated with these procedures, such as fees, stamping, waiting, and others.
This came after a radio episode by Abdullah Al-Saeedi, in which he was discussing this problem on “Al-Shabiba” radio.

Al-Balushi suspected that he paid about 250 riyals per month due to the procedures at the land ports.
He pointed out that previously, “we used to pay 6 riyals for the value of the electronic surveillance hour, and after the Supreme Committee for Omani workers was exempted from the hour, we are paying the same amount and we do not know why?”
The Supreme Committee
The Supreme Committee in charge of examining the mechanism of dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Corona virus in the Sultanate of Oman said. It banned entry to Prime Time Zone from ten countries for 15 days, to contain the spread of the virus, especially the mutated strains.
The countries include Sudan, Lebanon, South Africa, Brazil, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Ethiopia. The decision will be implemented from next Thursday.
The Oman News Agency stated that the ban includes those coming from any other countries if they have passed through any of the ten aforementioned countries during. The 14 days preceding the application to enter the Sultanate of Oman.
