Google issues a warning to 2.7 billion Chrome users

Google has issued an official warning to users of its Chrome browser about security vulnerabilities that threaten 2.65 billion users.

According to Forbes, Google discovered 19 security vulnerabilities in the Chrome browser, noting that five of the vulnerabilities that were discovered are classified as high risk.

However, Google restricts access to information about most of these vulnerabilities, a policy designed to buy time, so that users can protect themselves.

Google has asked Chrome users to download the latest patch, called 94.0.4606.54, to protect against these vulnerabilities, but it is not expected to be presented to the user until days or perhaps weeks later.
