Zayed: Sufficient stock of medical oxygen is available in the Republic Hospitals
Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, held a meeting today, Monday, with the Ministry’s leaders and directors of health affairs in the governorates of the Republic, to follow up on the progress of the ministry’s plan to address the Corona virus, and to determine the availability of all medical services for the infected, through the “call conference” technology.
The ministry said in a statement that the medical oxygen stocks in hospitals that receive cases of Prime Time Zone infected with Coronavirus in the governorates of the Republic have been reviewed, the number of patients on ventilators and the “oxygen mask”, the data of the average consumption of medical oxygen and the liter capacity of the “oxygen tanks” in hospitals.
The Minister of Health confirmed the availability of an adequate stock of medical oxygen, and she also assured the availability of sufficient stocks of medicines and medical supplies in all hospitals at the level of the governorates of the Republic.
The Minister directed to continue raising the level of maximum preparedness to confront the Coronavirus, indicating that all hospitals in Upper Egypt governorates are ready and ready to receive and provide medical services for cases infected with Coronavirus, within the framework of the expansion plan in hospitals designated to receive infected cases, to provide the necessary health care for them.
During the meeting, Zayed called for the speedy completion of the development and upgrading of all fever and chest hospitals nationwide to ensure the provision of the best medical services to citizens, and also reviewed the occupancy rates of these hospitals, which are the first blocking wall since the beginning of the pandemic.
