Assem Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, held a meeting to review the proposed alternatives to the project to re-plan and develop the southern entrance to Giza, which aims to link and integrate with major development projects in the surrounding area, and optimize the use of available lands on the Nile front, and the main axes.

The Minister of Housing said that the project also aims to link the area of ​​the southern entrance to Giza with the main surrounding axes, and to establish a mass transportation center in the Munib area to solve the problem of the transportation system and random parking, and the traffic jams it causes in that area, and to establish administrative and service centers that meet the needs of citizens.

During the meeting, members of the project’s advisory group reviewed the area’s development plan, land use proposal, traffic axes, proposals for traffic solutions, and dealing with various means of transportation, in order to facilitate traffic, in addition to reviewing the proposed residential and service activities and projects.
