Al-Ahly’s technical staff, led by South African coach Pitso Mosimane, rejected the idea of Mahmoud Kahraba’s departure during the transfer season this summer, despite his absence from the squad for long periods due to the technical staff’s decisions to exclude him from the starting lineup.
But the player Kahraba was able to prove himself again and convince the coach to put him in the starting lineup at the end of the current season, as a result of the impressive performance that the player showed during group training and returning to his level.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly team announced its contract with a number of local and foreign players in order to support the team during the upcoming seasons, most notably Egyptian Hossam Hassan, South African Percy Tau, Mozambican Mikisoni and Karim Fouad during the summer transfer season.
