Kuwaiti media outlets reported that the Kuwaiti National Assembly announced today, Thursday, its tentative approval of “toughening the penalties for normalization with Israel.”
This came in a statement of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, read by its president, Marzouq Al-Ghanim, during a special parliamentary session, to discuss the Israeli aggression on the occupied Palestinian territories, as reported by the official Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The statement stated that “the approval in principle of amendments to tighten penalties and fill the gaps, on the law prohibiting dealing or normalization with the Zionist entity,” considering that this constitutes a “new message of the firmness of the Kuwaiti position and the meeting between the government and the National Assembly, to the strong condemnation and total rejection of the recent Zionist aggression and all “Occupation crimes in Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the Palestinian interior.”

The National Assembly also expressed permanent solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian Prime Time Zone to obtain their natural right to establish their independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, and saluted the mujahideen and those stationed in the occupied Palestinian territories, according to the same statement.
The Kuwaiti parliament’s move came after the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh “Ahmed Al-Nasser,” stated that “Kuwait has intensified diplomatic moves to protect Jerusalem and its holy sites.”
Adding that “Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line, and there is no security or stability unless it is completely liberated from the occupation, and the aggression for its crimes is held accountable internationally,” according to the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Qabas.
According to Kuwaiti law, Israel is considered an “enemy state, and natural and legal persons are prohibited from concluding agreements or deals with bodies or persons residing in Israel or belonging to it by their nationality or working for it or in its interest.”

Dealing or concluding agreements or deals with Israelis entails a life sentence or temporary imprisonment of 5 to 10 years, and a fine.

This comes while the Israeli ambassador to the UAE celebrated the first Holocaust memorial exhibition to be opened in an Arab country, saying in his statements: “Who would have dreamed that this would happen in an Arab country?”
On Wednesday, the Israeli ambassador to the UAE, Eitan Naeh, warned of a new “crystal night”. Because of allegations of “increasing anti-Semitism in the world.”
This came during the visit of the Israeli ambassador to Abu Dhabi, a commemorative exhibition of the Holocaust, which was described as the first in the Arab countries.
Naih, who was appointed Israel’s ambassador to the UAE following the normalization agreement signed between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi, said that holding the exhibition in the Arab world is “remarkable.”
On his visit to the memorial exhibition, he stated: “Whoever dreamed of 70 or 80 years ago that an Israeli and German ambassadors would sit together here, in an Arab country, during a visit to a Holocaust memorial exhibition.”
“Kristallnacht” or “Night of Shattered Glass” is the name given by the Jews to the attacks launched by Nazi gangs on the night of the 9th to the 10th of November 1938, on shops, homes, interests and synagogues throughout Germany, interspersed with the looting and destruction of these places And burn it.

The exhibition, held at the “Museum of the Crossing of Civilizations” in Dubai, includes stories about Arabs and Muslims who protected Jews during the Holocaust and saved them from death at the hands of the Nazis.
The Palestinians condemned the normalization agreements signed last year with the occupation by four Arab countries, namely the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco, considering that they block the road to their efforts to establish a Palestinian state.
Since April 13, the situation in the Palestinian territories has exploded, as a result of brutal attacks perpetrated by the Israeli police and settlers in Jerusalem, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood (center), in an attempt to evacuate 12 Palestinian homes and hand them over to settlers.
At dawn on May 21, a ceasefire began between Israel and the Palestinian factions in Gaza, mediated by Egypt, after an 11-day Israeli military aggression on the Strip, in which more than two million Palestinians live, and has been besieged by Israel since the summer of 2006.
The Israeli aggression on the Palestinian territories resulted in a total of 288 martyrs, including 69 children, 40 women and 17 elderly, in addition to more than 8,900 wounded, including 90 very serious injuries.
