The planning delegation in Morocco said today, Thursday, that the country’s economy grew by 15.2% in the second quarter of the year, compared to a contraction of 14.2% in the same period last year, according to what was reported by Reuters.

The commission said in a report that the growth was achieved thanks to an 18.6% increase in agricultural activities and a 14.8% increase in non-agricultural output.

It expected Morocco’s economy to grow 5.8% this year after a 6.3% contraction in 2020, in light of the impact of the Corona virus pandemic and drought.

The article, Morocco’s economy grew by 15.2% in the second quarter, was written in Al Borsa newspaper.
