AC Milan announced the signing of French striker Olivier Giroud, 34, from his former club, Chelsea.

And Milan published a statement on its official website, saying: “AC Milan is pleased to announce the signing of Olivier Giroud in a permanent transfer deal from Chelsea, and the player will wear the number 9 shirt.”

And Sky Sports revealed that the Italian club AC Milan will pay the English club Chelsea an amount of one million euros, equivalent to 855,000 pounds.

French striker Olivier Giroud played for Chelsea in 119 matches, in which he scored 39 goals and made 14 assists.

His professional career

Giroud moved to the French team Montpellier in 2010, coming from Tours in the French second division, and then moved in June 2012 to the Arsenal team on a long-term contract for $ 9.6 million, and he held the number 12.

Then Giroud moved in January 2018, before he recently moved to the Italian Milan team, which did not reveal the details of the player’s deal.

Giroud, who was crowned with his country in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, is scheduled to play alongside Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 39, in the Italian team Milan.
