He added, “We will continue to provide more facilities and incentives for the beneficiaries of the lands of the 1.5 million feddans project, with the aim of supporting them and enabling them to fulfill their national and developmental role towards their country.”
Abdel Wahab indicated that committees have been formed from the leaders and cadres of the company that roam – throughout the week – the various lands and sites of the 1.5 million acres To follow up on the executive position of the infrastructure works that are completed, to support, direct and support the beneficiaries, and to provide the necessary agricultural guidance to them, as well as to measure the extent of seriousness and rates of actual completion on the ground in the projects and activities of the various beneficiaries of the project lands.
He explained that there are challenges in the Mughara region, foremost of which is the high salinity of well water, which is matched by the presence of a number of crops that can be grown on this type of water, which can cope with the high salinity percentage of well water in this area. Coordination is currently underway with all research centers, to find the most appropriate and fastest solutions in order to reduce the high salinity percentage of well water in Al-Mughar area.
He pointed out that the contract is expected to be completed within weeks with a number of investors, in order to deliver electricity to all lands of the “new Egyptian countryside”, as soon as possible and at the lowest possible cost.
