Mohamed Abdel Salam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Readymade Garments and Furniture Industry, said that a permanent training center for the Chamber will be established in the Asmarat district, in coordination with all concerned authorities, in order to implement a plan to manage the required labor within the sector.

Abdel Salam added that the Chamber is currently organizing focused courses to teach girls the basic principles of joining work in factories. The courses target girls from 18 to 30 years old and include both theoretical and practical aspects.

It is noteworthy that the Chamber has updated and developed the basic training program to last only two weeks to prepare the girls with the required competency and with the help of the most qualified trainers specialized in the sector.

The Chamber also disburses rewards to trainees and trainers, and supplies the materials and equipment required for the training process.
