Reuters reported that the Sultanate of Oman asked Qatar on Sunday to help it join a global airline alliance.

A representative of “Oman Air” said in statements to the agency, “Reuters“Oman Air asked his colleague, Gulf Air, and Qatar Airways, to help him join the “Oneworld” global aviation alliance.

A representative of Oman Air confirmed that the company is keen to join the alliance, which includes 14 airlines, including Qantas, American Airlines, British Airways and Cathay Pacific.

Hamad International Airport ranked fifth in the magazine’s poll, among the top 10 airports in the world.

Globally, Changi Airport in Singapore ranked first, followed by Istanbul International Airport in second place.
