Awad: The delivery of the 4,500-equipped medical vehicle deal from Germany ends in 2023
Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, said that 4,500 medical vehicles have been contracted with Germany and will continue to arrive until 2023.
He added that the value of the first payment for ambulances is about $500 million.
Taj El-Din explained, during a telephone interview with the program On My Responsibility, broadcast on the Sada El-Balad satellite channel, that for the first time we contract for ambulances with such a large number in a short period of time.
He said that Germany will establish a factory and a regional training center in Egypt, and we have contacted the heads of Egyptian universities to review the plan to receive the Corona vaccine.
He pointed out that we have not received scientific information about a drug that reduces death rates from the Corona virus, and that all precautionary measures must be taken to confront the virus.
He said that the conditions of students at the undergraduate and pre-university levels are monitored to receive the Corona vaccine before the start of the educational process.
