The Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, specified the work of bakeries during the month of Ramadan, starting from eight in the morning until five in the evening, and he also decided to open work in the bakery system for bakeries that are determined by the directors of the directorates until ten in the evening, to ensure the availability of bread throughout the day.
Al-Moselhi said in a statement today, Thursday, that organizing the work of bakeries during the month of Ramadan during those hours allows the availability of all the citizens’ needs of subsidized bread throughout the day.
Al-Moselhy directed the Ministry’s Supervision and Distribution Division to allow the mills to deliver flour to the bakeries according to the scheduled dates.
He also directed the supply directorates to establish a main operations room in the office of each directorate and another sub-department in the supply departments, to follow up the continuation of the supply situation, receive citizens’ complaints, examine them, and take the necessary measures to remove their causes.
He stressed the need to intensify monitoring and follow-up campaigns from all departments affiliated with the directorates, regarding the availability, prices and quality of all commodities, especially the important and necessary ones in the markets, wholesale branches and consumer complexes, and outlets for the distribution of food supplies, and the availability of gas cylinders and petroleum products of all kinds during the month of Ramadan.
