Ambassador Tarek Adel, Egypt’s ambassador in London, discussed with James Cleverley, British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, during a video conference, the developments of the Renaissance Dam negotiations and the efforts made by Egypt in pursuit of a fair, balanced and comprehensive agreement on filling and operating the dam in the interests of The three countries guarantee the preservation of regional stability and peace.
Today, Thursday, the Foreign Ministry stated that during the meeting, the existing coordination of international forums and organizations was reviewed, and the importance of working to strengthen this cooperation during the coming period.
The two sides also discussed developments in the Egyptian-British relations and efforts to upgrade them at various levels.
In this context, they welcomed the progress witnessed by bilateral cooperation in various fields, and affirmed their eagerness to continue to push forward joint cooperation programs in all fields, including health, education and tourism, in a way that serves the interests of both countries.
