Sheikh Ahmed Al-Khalili said, in a statement posted on his official Twitter account, that among the strange inaccuracies and scandalous deceptions advocated by atheists and feminists “is that religion has prohibited women from having a role in relation to religion, and that he has practiced male racism against her.”

He added that among their allegations, “they do not release (a religious woman) and (religious women), but they are said to be a religious man and clerics.”

The Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman refuted their suspicion by saying: “These poor Prime Time Zone did not realize that these terms are innovated and have nothing to do with the religion of Islam. Rather, they are in other religions, and they are rejected by Muslims because religion is for everyone and does not have a class that specializes in it, as is the case in other religions.”

According to the decision of the Supreme Committee issued to allow Friday prayers to be held and to reopen places of worship for those who received at least one dose of the vaccine until the end of September 2021, provided that the number of attendees does not exceed 50% of the capacity of mosques, mosques and places of worship, and that the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs undertake the task Organizing the precautionary measures adopted in this regard and monitoring their implementation.

The Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, also issued a legal fatwa regarding attending Friday prayers, in light of the precautions established to limit the Corona pandemic.

According to Sheikh Al-Khalili’s fatwa: “If the mosques cannot accommodate all the worshipers on Friday, then there is no shame in looking at the solutions that can be taken, such as setting a certain age to allow them to attend, whose bodies are usually more immune according to medical standards, or it is required that those who wanted to attend be Taking the two doses of the epidemic vaccination.”

The reopening of places of worship in the Sultanate of Oman

The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Sultanate of Oman announced, on Sunday, that it had allowed the reopening of mosques to perform Friday prayers, after about a year and a half of preventing their performance, due to the repercussions of the emerging Corona virus.

The Omani Endowment said that it had granted permission to open mosques for Friday prayer rituals, according to the established precautionary controls.

In the same context, the competent Corona Committee issued a number of other decisions, including reopening houses of worship, and allowing participation in religious, social, cultural and sports activities and events, exhibitions and conferences, for those who received at least one dose of the vaccine until the end of September 2021.

It also decided to stop the institutional quarantine for those coming to the Sultanate from Iraq and Iran, and to subject those coming from these two countries to the same controls in place for travelers arriving from all countries of the world.
