The Israeli newspaper (Times of Israel) claimed, citing intelligence sources, that the Israeli army tried to liquidate the leader of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas (Muhammad Al-Deif), wanted number 1 of Israel, twice, but he failed.

Muhammad Al-Deif survives the assassination attempt

The Israeli newspaper said that the army carried out two operations during the past (9) days to eliminate Deif, but he failed both times and the commander of the (Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades) managed to escape, according to Israeli intelligence.

The newspaper pointed out that the Israeli government did not allow the publication of these allegations until after Tuesday evening, without mentioning any details about the strikes that were carried out in an attempt to eliminate the guest since last Monday.

The Israeli army is looking for Muhammad Deif again

Meanwhile, Channel 12 quoted military sources as saying that the Israeli army is still seeking to liquidate Deif and the rest of the supreme leaders of the armed Palestinian factions, especially Hamas.

According to the channel, the Israeli army command informed the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that “the current conditions allow the elimination of the guest and the rest of the prominent personalities.”

Both the Israeli government and “Hamas” movement denied the validity of media reports that the two sides had reached a truce agreement, which will take effect on May 20.

Who is Muhammad Deif

The Israeli occupation calls Muhammad al-Deif (the head of the snake), while he sometimes describes him as a ghost whose whereabouts are unknown, but whose actions you see.

The number one required for the occupation is not Khaled Meshaal, Ismail Haniyeh, or Hassan Nasrallah, but rather Muhammad al-Deif, who, if his name is mentioned, invokes a dictionary of intelligence, caution and cunning mixed with the legendary heroism.

The occupation tried to assassinate Muhammad Al-Deif five times and failed to do so, and he was justifying his failure by saying that (the guest) is a target with an extraordinary ability to survive and surrounded by mystery.

Muhammad al-Deif is the commander-in-chief of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, who assumed this position in 1993 after the assassination of Imad Aqd.

And his ability led the occupation to conclude a deal with the Palestinian Authority to hand over the guest in exchange for handing over 3 villages from Jerusalem to the Authority.

Indeed, in 2000, the Authority arrested him, but the second Palestinian uprising took place and he managed to escape.

The second attempt to assassinate him was in 2002, when an Apache helicopter was fired at his car, and he narrowly escaped, despite the martyrdom of two of his men.

Palestinian sources say that he lost an eye at the time, and during the war on Gaza in 2104, Israel bombed a three-story house and leveled it.

It turned out to be an assassination attempt on Muhammad Al-Deif, in which his wife, daughter and 6 others were martyred.

And since 1993 to the present day, Abu Khaled Muhammad al-Deif continues to suffer from the Zionist occupation.

Muhammad Al-Deif .. Commander-in-Chief of Al-Qassam Brigades

On May 5, Muhammad al-Deif, commander-in-chief of the al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, issued a final warning to the Israeli occupation to pay a heavy price if the aggression against the Prime Time Zone of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem did not stop.

At the time, Muhammad Al-Deif greeted the Prime Time Zone of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and stressed that the resistance is closely monitoring what is happening and will not stand idly by about what they are exposed to by the occupation and settlers.

Muhammad Al-Deif, the commander in chief of Al-Qassam Brigades, is not shown on the media, while his statements are issued through the media office of the Al-Qassam Brigades and its spokesman (Abu Ubaidah).

Muhammad al-Deif’s warning came simultaneously with the Israeli occupation forces ’suppression of the participants in the solidarity stand in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem and their attempt to evacuate the demonstrators from the neighborhood.
