The Directorate General of Meteorology in the Sultanate of Oman said that the tropical cyclone “Shaheen” is about 130 km from the Governorate of Muscat at a latitude of 24.2 degrees north and longitude 59.3 degrees east.

The wind speed around the center is estimated at 64 knots (116 km/h), and the tropical cyclone is likely to continue its movement towards the coasts of North Al Batinah Governorate, with direct effects starting this Sunday morning.
