Al-Moselhi said that the complex provides all the services of the Ministry of Supply, “commercial registry and trademark services, consumer protection services, stamp services and scales, and ration card services,” in line with the political leadership’s directives on digital transformation for a better future for the economy and in the context of facilitating access to mechanized and distinguished services. .
He added that the complex is the second service complex of the Ministry of its kind at the level of the Republic after the opening of a model complex during the past weeks in Port Said, noting that the complex includes all the services of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, which includes a package of services provided, including all commercial registry services, and receiving requests Registration of trademarks, ration card services, as well as receiving complaints from citizens about any wrong practices related to consumer rights, in addition to receiving requests for stamp services and scales, in accordance with international standards in the provision of government services.
For his part, Dr. Ibrahim Ashmawy, head of the Internal Trade Development Authority, said that within the framework of digital transformation, the Internal Trade Development Authority has developed a new model for providing commercial registry services, which is a commercial registry extracts unit, specialized in providing modern and electronic services to the Internal Trade Development Authority and other services. Through the digital Egypt portal, in addition to issuing and printing documents for the commercial registry “extracts – data certificates – negative certificates” in an effort to transform these units into fully mechanized units that provide their services without the presence of a human element and are available around the clock, in coordination with the smart and secured documents complex. Providing the service of delivering commercial registry and trademark services to the residence of the service applicants in cooperation with the Postal Authority.
He added that the Internal Trade Development Authority provided 6 services for the commercial registry, on the digital Egypt portal, such as a request for an extract from the commercial registry, an inquiry at the commercial registry, a request to renew a commercial registry, and a request for a data certificate for the registry, and a data update service “modifying data, deleting my national number” as well, adding a facility “Proof of my national number on the facility”.
Ashmawy indicated that within 3 months and before the end of the current year, 7 new services will be launched, bringing the number of services available for the commercial registry on Egypt’s digital portal to 13.
