Gold prices rose by 4 pounds in the local market during trading today, Tuesday, with an ounce of gold rising on the global stock exchange to the level of 1806 dollars, due to the decline of the dollar.
George Michel, head of the trade union committee for workers in gold and jewelry, said that gold prices witnessed a slight increase in the local market, with a 21-carat gram of gold registering the level of 790 pounds.
He added to the “Stock Exchange” that a 24-karat gold gram recorded 903 pounds, and 18 karat records 677 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold was 6320 pounds.
