The main Saudi stock index closed today, Thursday, down 68 points, to close at 9242.28 points, and in transactions worth 13.8 billion riyals.
The number of shares traded, according to the Saudi Press Agency, reached more than 507 million shares, shared by more than 557,000 deals in which the shares of 73 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 118 companies closed lower.
Shares of advanced companies, SAPTCO, Aban, Alaqaria, and Arab Insurance were the highest gainers, while the shares of Alkhorayef, Al Fukharia, Yansab, Gypsco and Sulaiman Al Habib companies were the lowest in trading, with increases and decreases ranged between 9.97% and 3.68%.
While the shares of Dar Al-Arkan, Real Estate, SAPTCO, SIRA, and JACO were the most active in terms of quantity, and the shares of SAPTCO, Real Estate, JACO, and Advanced, and Refineries were the most active in value.
The Saudi Parallel Stock Index (Nomu) also closed today, down 251.05 points, to close at 25,914.50 points, and with transactions amounting to 30 million riyals, and the number of shares traded reached 296 thousand shares, shared by 1003 deals.
