The Omani Civil Aviation Authority said on Friday in a tweet that it has removed Singapore and Brunei from the list of countries that prohibit entry into the Sultanate of Oman.

According to the statement of the Civil Aviation Authority, the decision will take effect from five in the afternoon on Monday, July 19, 2021.

The decision came based on the decision issued by the Supreme Committee charged with examining a mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Corona virus in Amman, and in coordination with the medical response sector and public health.

Sultanate of Oman begins evening closure الإغلاق

In a related context, today in the Sultanate of Oman, the evening closure of commercial activities and the ban on movement of individuals and vehicles began from 5 pm until 4 am.

The Supreme Committee announced the extension of the complete closure of commercial activities and the ban on the movement of individuals and vehicles throughout the day during the days of Eid Al-Adha, to end at 4 am on Saturday, Dhu Al-Hijjah 14, 1442 AH, corresponding to July 24, 2021 AD.

The evening closure of commercial activities and the ban on the movement of individuals and vehicles will continue from 5 pm to 4 am until the end of July, except for the period of Eid al-Adha days (July 20-23), when the complete closure of commercial activities is applied and the movement of individuals and vehicles is prohibited throughout the day.
